Where have I been?

BUSY!! The last month of school was crazy here. We have things planned on the weekends and now that summer break is here we run around more then ever.

Ciaara has tennis Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings... then between her softball and Noahs baseball we have games and practice Monday-Thrusday.

I am still semi-looking for a job, not only would the money be nice but I am bored while the kids are at school. But we don't know how I would be able to work and run the kids around to the sports that they love. I hope the perfect part time job will find its way to me.

Now on to Scrapping....

March 21 Sassy Sketch

Here is our sketch for March: I loved the sketch and couldn't wait to get to work, I printed some pictures and
nothing worked right for me. I was having trouble fitting two bigger pictures and then
3 smaller ones on top. I think because I scrap 8,5x11 it was just throwing me off. So I printed some more and decided to add another row of pictures. A sketch is a blueprint of course, a place to start, inspiration. Don't be afraid to make a sketch your own.
Here is what I ended up with:

I took the kids Summer Shopping yesterday and had so much fun.
We got shorts and tank tops and Ciaara got 2 skirts that are SO cute and summery.
I sure hope this weather holds out and summer is here before we know it!

Spring is around the corner, I can feel it!
It has been so nice here, lots of sunshine and it feels warm!
The temps have been in the high 30's and its been great!

I know that it can get cold and snow still anytime.. but

for now I'm just enjoying the melting snow!

I just got over having strep and boy was I miserable!

I don't know if I've ever been that sick, I honestly didn't
get out of bed for almost 3 days. (except to go to the dr)

That never happens to me, I never get that sick.

I normally get strep about once a year but this time it

just knocked me on my butt!

We went to a Twins Game this weekend! The kids love going to games! I got some pretty cute pictures!

and one more just cuz its cute, I'm not sure if they were telling secrets or if Ciaara was kissing her brother. lol

In other news around here Tball starts today, soccer wraps up this week. School is done on Thursday. Its a busy week!! :D

I know, I know....I am bad at this blogging thing. I tried to update a few times during the week but kept getting side tracked.

First and Foremost Happy Mother's Day to all you mommies out there!! Nate and the kids got me a pocket camera, I've been wanting one for awhile now, I LOVE my canon its just a little big and bulky to carry around. I miss some great photo opportunities by not having it with me so I am thrilled to have gotten this: They also got me new 2 gig memory cards (one for each camera) and the movie PS I Love You. They let me sleep in and gave me lots of love all day. We were going to plant my flower garden today also but the people at the garden store said to wait because its supposed to freeze tonight and the ground is too cold.

This has been and will be our life for the next few weeks..........SOCCER!!

The kids love playing and its so fun to watch them. They both have got goals in games! This year for Noah is more "official" they have referees and line judges and everything.

Last week there was a mama bear and three cubs up in a tree down the street, it was the talk of the town. People were driving down the street all day to look at them.

No other news really to talk about, I did get some mojo back and have a few layouts to share but I'll save them for next time. I hope you all had a WONDERFUL weekend and very happy Mother's Day!!

She is SIX years old!! I can't believe it!! Six years ago today I was holding a baby girl in my arms and was so happy....so happy when Noah came in with Nate's parents to meet his baby sister for the first time. I can't believe how fast time goes, I don't know how six years just flew by!

Here she is at Six years old; Beautiful, Smart, Independent, Silly and Sweet!

I'm headed to her school at noon today with birthday treats and I always let the kids pick their birthday supper and she wants KFC so we will be going to get that after school! On Saturday we had a party at home for her! My mom and step-dad came down, Nate's dad and Grandma and my sister, BIL and my niece's were here! It was a beautiful day-- about 60 degrees!! The kids played out side and we all spent some of the day outside!

She got more presents then she needed and she got MONEY and a lot of it!! She had a great day!

She doesn't like birthday cakes, she likes cupcakes so I had to put all her candles in the cupcake :)

I will make her some goodies tonight too (brownies) and she still has presents from us to open!

She will have another busy day!

Do you ever just get the blahs? You don't feel overly happy or overly sad, you just feel blah? Thats how I feel right now. I am so sick of winter and I think that is part of the problem, I can't wait til I don't have to bundle the kids up for school, I can't wait until I can walk outside without a jacket. and did I tell its supossed to snow again? :sigh:

The kids have spring fever, they won't settle down in the house. They are just wild. I just soooo need for spring to come!!!

On a happier note, I found this Fiskars Punch at Target last weekend!! I have been waiting for it to come out and was soooo happy I found it!

And I already used it on a layout!!! Its a must have and I know people are having a hard time finding it :(

Anyways, I hope my week cheers up a little, and I hope you all have a wonderful week :D

Worst Mom Award!

If there was such a thing as the worst mom award, I may have gotten it yesterday. Yesterday was a stressful day. lol I got the kids from school and they started fighting in the car on the way home (sigh). Well as the night went on they just would not settle down, between fighting and chasing each other all over the house and screaming and fighting I was at my wits end. So after asking them to stop what seemed like a hundred times I yelled at them and put them in a time out in their rooms.

Well Ciaara comes out and hands me this note: "I stil love you wen you yul" or I still love you when you yell in case you don't understand 5 year old spelling :) Could I have felt like a worse mom? I didn't let it show of course and explained that I love her when I yell and I love her when shes naughty but I'm trying to teach her the right way. (and how cute is that note and her spelling! lol)

It was almost 50 degrees here yesterday and that felt WONDERFUL, I hope it stays warmer and we get rid of more snow!! I hope spring is peeking through!

I spent the weekend scrapping with my friends at Scrapfreak. Scrapfreak celebrated their FIRST birthday with a BIRTHDAY BASH CROP! There was so many inspiring challenges and and games, I got all of this done:

This cards challenge was for it to be interactive, so I made a shaker box out of the flower:

On top of these great projects inspired by Team Freak---I won at Bingo on Friday night and get to pick a paper line from the store AND I was also the GRAND PRIZE WINNER and won a 50 DOLLAR gift card to the Scrapfreak Store, I am SOOO EXCITED!!!

Sketch This 45! I LOVED this sketch! We are going to start doing the sketches/layouts bi-weekly so Check out the site every other week for a new sketch! This is one of my favorite layouts right now-- I just love the picture! This layout was also based on a Janelle Richmond sketch.

We had a nice weekend. We went and saw our new nephew and he is precious! The kids held him and just loved it! We shopped a little and got Nate his new work clothes he needed!

I got just a few items at Archivers.

Ciaara has been home sick the last 2 days from school, she has a fever around 100 degrees and has a bad cough. So I've been busy taking care of and entertaining her.

I've been scrapping a little and have some more layouts to share. I'm hoping that will force me to post again this week, stay tuned :D

WOW, Check out what I won yesterday!!! I was looking at the Making Memories Blog the last few days and they were having a contests and I kept missing them by a few minutes.
I got home from getting the kids from school and the blog was up on my computer so I refreshed and it said email now for a change to win (include a phone number) and I got the call!

Oh My Goodness, I screamed and cryed a little and was so excited I was talking fast and was out of breath---- I hope they could understand me I was going 90 miles minute! lol The kids thought I was completely crazy lol

I never win anything so this was such a lift for me, things have been so crazy busy here that it just made my day, week, year!!! lol

Wow, its Febuary 6th! Valentines day is right around the corner. I have no idea what to get Nate--we don't go all out to get each other stuff but I do like to get him a little something or make him something, any ideas?

We have all been sick off and on, darn cold being passed around and around the house.

Things at work at so busy for Nate with the switchover, I am still helping with the bookkeeping stuff. The bookkeeper goes back to the dr today, lets cross our fingers that she gets the okay to come back this week!!!

WOW What a week!! Monday there was no school it was the end of the quarter. Luckily for us we were all home when Nate got the call at work that his Brother and Wife had their baby boy!! His name is Nicholas and he is just precious!! The kids LOVE that they have a baby cousin!

Wednesday School was canceled on Wednesday due to the severe cold weather, it was 20 below zero with a wind chill of 50 below (so it felt like 50 below zero!!!) It was CRAZY! And to think on Monday it was 45 degrees!

This is the layout I did for Sketch This #42-- Check out the sketch HERE!! Love the way this turned out and I'm so glad I took a picture of Ciaaras hockey skates. I haven't been able to get a photo of Noahs yet!

I've been squeezing in a couple other projects, I got this layout done and a couple Valentines cards.

The Journaling on this one reads:

Ciaara has been sick with a cold for the last couple weeks so I finally brought her to the Doctor on Monday, I just thought enough is enough. The Dr agreed that it had been long enough and put her on some meds and she is doing so much better. She isn't coughing much at all and she can finally breathe again.

The bad news...... I think Noah is getting it :sigh:

Nothing else to report, I got a new Scrapbooks Etc in the mail today so I am off to cuddle up and read it. Have I mentioned that its been barely above zero in days! I am so over winter!!

Ummm yeah...sometimes I forget to blog, I will think about it and then forget or open the window and just don't have anything to say. Sometimes I have a lot to say but start typing it up and then just go off track! lol

I don't have much to say today....My mom and older sister came down to visit on Thursday and Friday. That's fun, I love seeing them and staying up late with my sister. I've still been working off and on for Nate, and I have alot to catch up on this week.

It has been so cold, miserably cold. Its not even above zero today :( I keep dreaming of spring and so can't wait for it to be here.

We've had the kids up on skates the last few weeks and they are doing great, they got rid of the triangle last week and was trying it on their own. I can't find my skates so I haven't gone out with them but Daddy has!

Sketch this #40 was up on Tuesday. This was the layout I did for it.

New Year/Boy Layouts?!!

WOW, its 2008!! Where does the time go? I can remember like it was yesterday partying it up on the turn of the century! I can remember how worried everyone was about computers and such making the switch to 2000 and now here we are 8 years later!

We rang in the new year at home with Nate's dad and had a great night! The kids even made it til 1:00 in the morning. We played games and they did a toast with us at midnight with apple juice, Noah said it was one of his best nights ever.

I've done 5 layouts this new year and all of them have been with pictures of Noah!! YIKES! lol
I find girl layouts way easier so maybe I am turning over a new leaf in 2008!

There is 4 of them and the 5th one will be up on Tuesday!

Christmas came and went super fast as always! I had so much to get done before Christmas I didn't have time for blogging or being online much. I did get my annual calendars done, I'm not sure how, but they are done and with the grandparents. I didn't have time to take pictures of them though. :(

I hope you all had as good of a Christmas as I did! We all got way to much stuff and I got some money that is burning a hole in my pocket, I can hear shopping calling my name!!! lol

The kids are going to play at a friends today and I think I am going to head to work (at Nates store)and get caught up-- I'm not looking forward to that at all.

Winter Pictures!

For the most part I hate this time of year, its so cold! You have to warm up your vehicle for 2o minutes before you go anywhere, you have to be bundled up! YUCK and its only December, usually we don't get this cold til January and February. I hope I don't have 2 more months of this.....

Occasionally though winter can surprise you! Things were so pretty here the other day.

Here is the layout I did for Sketch This 37!! Between working (yep I am still working for DH) and Christmas stuff around here I'm not getting much done but I am thankful for these sketches to keep me on track!

Sketch This 36 and Some Snow!!!

Sketch This 36!! I am having so much fun scrapping from these sketches! I was a little stretched for time this week and worrying about getting a layout done but I did it! This layout is a 8x8 for my Christmas album, I have SO many pictures from last Christmas I haven't scrapped yet! Stop on by and try the sketch and let us see your layout! SNOW!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO I was so not ready for all the snow that has fallen this last week! I love years like last year with not much snow. Its just messy and shoveling is the worst! Its also been so cold, it hasn't been warmer then 20 in days! :(

Here is a quick picture of our tree, we put up all our Christmas stuff the weekend after Thanksgiving, The kids so love this time of year.

Also I haven't shared a picture of this guy in awhile---he is doing so well and I think I can say he is officially potty-trained! He is also starting to settle down a little and will just lay down and cuddle with us-- Its what we all have been waiting for!

Happy Belated Birthday to my Dear Husband Nate! He turned 31 on Monday and caught up to me now!!! :) Here is a picture I took of him and Noah 2 weeks ago when they went hunting! Happy Birthday Honey!!

Things continue to be crazy busy here! I have so much going on I feel like I can't get anything done! I can't wait until Nates bookkeeper is back so I can stop "helping out" at the store. She had to have a second knee surgery and probably won't be back until the first of the year. Its just getting in the way of things I had planned and things I could have done. A friend asked me to run to Target with her the other morning and I had to say no :(

We had a very nice Thanksgiving weekend hanging out and seeing our families! I went shopping and got TONS done for Christmas!! We came home and put up our lights outside and put our tree up!
There was no sketch on Sketch This this week because of Thanksgiving and I didn't have much time for scrapping but I wanted to share these cards I did.

Here is my layout for Sketch This! #35-- it is such a great sketch! I had this layout done the night I got the sketch!! The title says.... 'Not your ordinary Smile'. Noah was/is still a little self-conscious about how he looks with out teeth-- ( I never knew boys would worry about such things) So I keep getting these silly smiles!
We are headed north for Thanksgiving so I won't be around all weekend. I know I have a TON of catching up to do on your blogs---this working everyday stuff is not good on my internet time ;)

Here is my sweet SEVEN year old boy today!! I can't believe how time flys!! I can't believe you are seven years old! Happy Birthday my sweet boy! I am sooo proud of the person you are, and the person you will grow up to be-- but some days I just want to cry and tell you to SLOW DOWN!!!

Last week was so busy here!! Between working for Nates store, and me getting strep ( I was miserable) to Noah's first sleepover! It was a busy Week! Instead of a birthday party Noah wanted his first sleepover. He had a wonderful time having a friend sleep over. We took the kids to the casino arcade and then to Pizza Hut. They stayed up til 11:00!!!

I also had a great time on Saturday meeting up with some scrappy friends---Sara, Jess, Becky and La. I had a great time scrapping and hanging out with you, hope we do it again soon!! :D

Loved this weeks sketch!! I've had these pictures of Noah sitting on my desk for a couple weeks! I LOVE LOVE this paper in the Rockstar stack by DCVW!
I had a busy weekend, my mom surprised me by deciding to drive down and spend the night with me. I was so happy because Nate was out of town and I hate staying alone! I am still helping Nate out at the store, I got ALOT done today and should have fast day tomorrow! I am missing my scrapping though and have a lot to get done before Christmas.

Halloween and stuff

Happy Halloween (a day late)--Things have been crazy busy here. I have been helping Nate at the store and I forgot what its like to work and still have to take care of everything here. I am way behind on laundry, my house is a mess and we forgot what day it was! On October 30th I worked super late, got home put the kids to bed and realized it was Oct. 30-- and OMG we didn't even carve our pumpkin yet!!! I woke the kids up at 9:00 and had them carve a pumpkin. ARGH, I am a bad mom! I knew we wouldn't have time on Halloween day so it was our only chance and of course I didn't want to miss photo opportunities!

We had a nice Halloween day, We all go out trick or treating together. Every Halloween seems to get cold. It was warm (60's) the days before and of course Halloween comes and its 45 and windy! We also went to a Halloween party and didn't get home until after the kids bedtime--oh well aren't they cute:

Yep I'm a bad blogger!

Hello, I know I am a bad blogger!! I had a busy week and weekend!! Went to a friends wedding that they put together fast, had supper out with a friend and his parents! We ran to the cities yesterday, went to church this morning and got to hear the kids sing for the first time in childrens choir!! SOOOOO CUTE!!!

After church I decided to scrap, the kids played outside for a bit. Nate watched the race/football and baseball so I had some time today while I was doing laundry!!

Well my birthday came and went (on Friday), I'm not sure how or why time flys by so fast. I remember like it was yesterday the day I turned 21! I had a great day with my mom and older sister Melissa shopping, having lunch and just hanging out. We got back to town and met Nate and the kids for supper, went home and opened another present from my mom and cuddled up the kids before we went out with some friends. That was fun, I was even dancing by the end of the night. Nate and the kids got me a movie and gave me some shopping money :D

The weekend flew by, but I did find some time for scrapping on Sunday and I was so happy about it! :) Seems like its been awhile since I just sat down and spent more then an hour or so being creative and on Sunday I scrapped pretty much all day! Here are my layouts I did:

There was a challenge at Scrapfreak to only use circles on a layout and I wanted to try with--this is what I came up with:

Both of these layouts (above and below) are inspired by some of Janelles sketches at Sketch This!! I was hitting a road block and went and looked through some sketches, love them!!

Here is my layout for Sketch This #30! I loved the sketch! (of course I love them all)I've had this Autumn Leaves flourishy paper for awhile and I've wanted to use it for so long! This picture is sooo cute but makes me so sad that Ciaara is a big girl now in all day Kindergarten!The Journaling reads: You are growing up to fast and I am having a hard time letting go.I need more time! I miss you now that you are in school all day.

This package came in the mail for me today!! My friend Shannon got all these for me and sent them my way!! :D I can't never find there around so she picks them up for me :D I was soooo excited!

Friday is my birthday, (argh turning 31!!!) my mom and sister are coming down to see me. We are headed to the cities for me to spend my birthday money!!

My neice Stephanie turns 10 on October 30!! I can't believe that, I remember sitting in the waiting room waiting for her to be born and holding her just minutes later. She is so sweet. I am sure I won't get to see her on her bday and we will be home next weekend for a wedding so I wanted to get this done for her now.

I left the pages blank for her to fill in and added some pictures for fun!!

Things I learned this weekend:

1. Don't tease a 6.5 year old that he is going on a rollercoaster or he will cry.
2. Don't be surprised that your 5 year old little girl is brave!
3. I'm not as young as I used to be.
4. I'm not as brave as I used to be.
5. Its okay to be afraid of heights.
6. I fear death by roller coster accidents more then I used to.
7. You can still have fun when you are scared.
8. Rollercoasters are still as fun as they used to be (once you get over that fear and try them)
9. Although I yell when the ride starts by the end I am laughing.
10. My daughter can't wait til she is tall enough to ride the biggest coaster!

We spent Saturday at ValleyFair, we had the most beautiful day! It was 65 and sunny with a breeze! Not to hot, or to cold. The kids behaved so well and enjoyed all the kids rides. They both got to go on one "rollercoaster" that is a family ride. They loved it. Noah was tall enough for all of them but was to scared to try.

Nope I didn't bring a camera, having to walk around with the kids all day in a busy amusement park I just didn't want one more thing to watch and carry!

Just a layout to share.... I have done a little scrapping off and on the last couple weeks and I have a few more to take pictures of and upload. I bought these Rusty Pickle papers and Chipboard at ScrapFreak....LOVE it!! Things have been moving quickly here, I can't believe we are on the second week of school. The kids seem to be enjoying it. They get up pretty easy and get ready in the morning. I am having a hard time getting motivated while they are gone :( I miss them!

We are working hard on training the dog, its not going well! :( I know he is still a puppy so I'm trying to be patient. He is catching on to alot-- he knows where his treats are, he knows where his food bowl is when its up. If only he could catch on to the potty training....soon I hope! :)

I hope to scrap some more this week-- can you all force me to do so!!! :D

2 Big Kids....One SUPER SAD Mommy!!!!

Well its here.........the first day of school!! The kids got up fairly easy this morning I was relieved. Everything went smooth getting ready, we curled up Ciaara's hair, I wrote the check for lunches and I heard Nate open the doors on the van and take the kids out. I grabbed everything else I needed (my camera etc) and shut the door and walked out.

I took some pictures, the sand flies were terrible and the kids wanted to be done. I looked and Nate and said "you grabbed the keys right?" (after all I heard the van beep when he opened the doors of the van with the keys) and he said nope, I only opened the doors I didn't grab them. I thought he was kidding, he wasn't!!! So on the first day of school we are standing in the front yard locked out of the house and no keys for any vehicles. ARGH Ciaara started crying---Nate ran over to an automotive shop a block away to see if they by chance could open the door. They gave him a number for a locksmith an HOUR away!! Well we can't wait an hour on the first day of school----so Nate broke down the door!!! I pieced some of it back together and its working but we probably need to replace it soon.

Anyways, we got there on time thank goodness and I was a wreck. we brought Noah first and I felt so bad leaving him in a class with 2nd and 3rd graders. I know we made that choice to have him in this Spanish class but he just doesn't seem big enough to be in 1st grade. He seemed fine though, went and found his tennis shoe spot and his backback spot and said bye mom! I left him with tears in my eyes.....

I dreaded the ride out to Ciaara's school! We pulled in and parked and Ciaara just sat his her car seat and didn't want to come out. I finally got her to walk out and she walked in like a big girl we found her spot to hang her stuff and EVERYTHING in her class is labeled with her name and its ALL spelled wrong!! Ciaara noticed it and feels bad and it was so hetic I didn't tell the teacher, I will tomorrow or may even email her today. Ciaara stayed near me and I know she was nervous. She doesn't know many people in her class and I felt so bad leaving my baby there. I kissed her a couple times and left and cried the whole way home and off and on ever since.

Nooooo I'm not pregnant, but we do have another baby in the family!

This is Tiger Gordon Lane. His name has meaning for the kids (Papa Ron can you figure it out?) They both wanted a name that would remind them of their Grandma.

He is sweet and cute and cuddley and the kids love him. We just got him last night, I am having lack of sleep issues from being outside so much last night---ARGH once for 40 minutes at 3:00 but he hadn't pee'd since we got home so I knew I needed to wait him out! I think its Nates turn to get up tonight! :)

This week has been all about getting ready for school. The kids got new haircuts,I finished school shopping, I'm washing it all and getting it put away. I can't believe they start back to school in the fall and that I'm going to be kid free all day! I have tears just typing it, I don't want my kids to be this grown up already :( gotta run now, I'm all teary :(

Noahs tooth has been hanging by a thread for 2 weeks! He was so nervous to pull it out. He thought it would hurt (although his other three teeth didn't) and he thought he was going to look sooo silly having his 2 front teeth gone! Little did he know how silly he looked having that tooth barely hang in there, it started to point sideways.

I saw him playing with it today and noticed how loose it really was and told him it was coming out today, I was able to see the new tooth coming in. So I wiggled it for awhile, Ciaara wiggled it for awhile and Noah finally decided to try and he got it out!! He was sooooo proud of himself!
We danced around and I went and brought him for ice cream (please excuse the ice cream on his face lol)

I think he looks sooo cute and sooooo grown up!

Layouts!!! I'd love to say I've been a scrapping fool, but I haven't. I haven't been scrapping much, just haven't had the mojo or the time really. This layout of Noah I did on Sunday but the other two are a couple weeks old.

Nates dad is coming here this weekend, we can't wait to see him! We are taking him with us to the Twins game on Saturday. We get to go on the field before the game to view batting practice. The kids hope we can meet some players and get autographs! It should be a good time.

America Idol Concert

Wow, what a fun time we had at the American Idol concert! They were all great and put on a GREAT show!! The kids had a blast, they were so excited when it started, they jumped right up and starting singing and dancing! Noah sang along to most of the songs and Ciaara was up dancing for alot of the concert. It was 3 hours long and I can't believe how well the kids behaved. It was a blast!

The bad news: Some of my pictures were gone off my memory camera when I got home. I try a recovery program and ended up getting some of them back but not them all :( Here are some them....................

This week is flying right by! It has been soooo hot, in the 90's all week. Argh! I try and not complain abou the warm weather because it is sooo much better then winter but its almost getting unbearable. The kids have spring fever and want to get outside but its just not good for them when its this hot!

Nate and one of his friends got our memorial trees planted, they look great! We explained to the kids why we planted memorial trees and they both were happy with that and said now Grandma can always be close. Ciaara helped Daddy plant the trees, Noah wouldn't even come outside to get a picture, he said it was to hot out!

Saturday we have tickets to go to the American Idol concert in the cities. This year was not one of my favorite years of Idol, but I think it would be a great time to take the kids to their first concert.

Our first week back home was okay. We are all adjusting to our loss and trying to figure out how our lives will change, we all know they will. We are turning to God because we know our lives are in his hands and want to have better relationship with him. Nate and I both believe in God, and teach the kids about God and Jesus and do many Sunday school lessons with them. We just haven't found a church here that feels like home to us..... there really isn't many options in our small town. But we are trying now, we are going to visit a church this week and we are sending the kids to Vacation Bible School there starting August 6th.

Nate and I also celebrated our 8th annivesary last Tuesday (the 24th). 8 years in unbelievable to me, it seems like just yesterday I was planning the wedding. Seems like just yesterday he proposed to me. Time really does fly!

Last night my friend Sara invited me to come down to the cities and meet up with her and La for lunch and a little scrapbook shopping. Nate was planning on just lounging around to watch the race so I decided to go. It was great hanging out and chatting and just having girl time! Thanks girls for a wonderful day! Here are my goodies:
I am still addicted to stamps and just can't stop buying them! I justify it by knowing that they will never go bad or out of style! :)

This week is supossed to be a warm one, maybe I'll fill up the pool and try for some new scrappin' pictures! Have a great week!

Hi all!! I've been meaning to share some pictures of the 4th of July. We had a wonderful day! My parents were down visiting, (we also had some friends over)we spent the day outside (the kids were in the pool for 5 hours!!). We played badmitton, washers and had a BBQ! Later on we did some fireworks in the back yard, they were GREAT!! Here is some pictures:

The other exciting thing that happened that day is Noah lost his front top tooth! It was sooo funny!! He bit in to his hamburger and hollered out to me "Mom, you have to check my tooth I think its out!!" There was alot of people here and he was kind of scared but acted really tough, I brought him in the bathroom and it was out with one little tug. He was sooo brave! I smile everytime I look at him, he looks so grown up with his missing tooth. The tooth fairy left her glitter trail and 2 bucks, he was thrilled!

Boy Layouts!!

I often struggle with boy layouts, they are harder for me, mostly because I love the pink, frilly girlie type of stuff. Noah doesn't even like me to put one flower on his layouts, even though I squeezed one in on one of these.
I am happy to be catching up on some of Noahs layouts, I had alot of pictures sitting here of him.

This layout is baised on a Pencil Lines sketch that can be seen HERE, if you haven't checked out that site yet you should--it ROCKS! :D

We have our last Tball game tonight, and of course there is a chance of rain. Besides that summer school is rolling right along, Noah started swimming lessons, Nate is trying to take a week off in July FINALLY!! He hasn't had a vacation in a year.

Happy Tuesday!! First off here are a couple of my latest layouts. I love this one of Ciaara blowing bubbles I just love the pictures! This one of Noah I did for a Freaky Friday Challenge on Scrapfreak! We had to use an arrow for the challenge. Noah is too funny and has the same smile in almost every picture I take of him lol

This weekend was a fun one, I had my share of ups and downs from spilling a drink all over the table and falling flat on my back at the Metrodome (yes I only had one drink) to winning 4 tickets to a Twins game AND we get to go on the field to see the players take batting practice.

I guess it was worth it! The kids got their faces painted, they were thrilled!

Summer school has been taking its toll and we are all tired around here, the kids are having a harder time waking up (so am I) and they are taking their sweet time in the morning to eat breakfast and get dressed its amazing we got out of the house on time today. Its also so hard for them to go to bed at a decent hour when its still light out. Its supossed to be summer time for sleeping in and relaxing!!!! They aren't ready to give up yet though, playing with their friends is too important and Noah starts swimming lessons next week.

Fathers day was laid back around our house, we gave Nate his gifts (I still need to photo the album I made him) He wanted to watch the Nascar race and wanted pizza for supper. I took Ciaara with me and Nate and Noah jumped in the kiddie pool. After the kids went to bed Nate and I watched a movie together, Catch and Release. It was the movie he got me for Mother's Day. It was a good day.

I admit it, I'm a BAD blogger! lol I've had some busy days around here with school being out I have 2 people to entertain! We had a wonderful weekend, we were invited to a friends cabin on Saturday and we had such a wonderful time. Their son was in Noahs class (thats how we met) and thier daughter is 4 years old and the kids have had a few playdates together. It was such a great time, the weather was perfect, about 80 degrees and a little windy to kept the bugs away!
The kids went swimming and got to go tubing for the first time, it was SOOO much fun!!

I am been scrapping up a storm!! I'm so happy to be out of my rut-I love it when the ideas just come to you and the pages come together so easy! I'll leave you with one of my favorite layouts I just did a couple days ago.... and I'll try to be better about blogging!

Only 2 more days of school left for Noah, I can't believe it!! Today was crazy hair day at school, Noah got to pick out his hair color and couldn't wait to have his hair colored. He looked so cute! Noah gets to be the line leader on the last day of school and I told him he should dance his class out of Kindergarten but he says he is to shy to do that! lol One of the Freaky Friday Challenges at ScrapFreak was to Lift the Boss! I picked this layout from Monica and did a lift.. I love how this layout turned out!! This layout I did for fun, Ciaara doesn't like it all because she doesn't like the picture!

She was soo mad when I took the picture and super mad that I scrapped it.

This week is a little less crazy with soccer being done. Ciaara is adjusting to being home with me I think she likes school better! Yesterday we scrapped together, today we played games and I still got the big old "Mommy, I'm bored" argh I don't look foward to that all summer.

I hope to do some more scrapping tomorrow--Happy Tuesday! :D

FINALLY a couple of layouts!! I've been having MAJOR scrappers block :( I struggled hard with creating both of these. I don't know whats wrong with me, I've never had my mojo blocked this bad! Hopefully I'm finding my way back to a normal scrap schedule.

The kids had their last soccer game tonight, it was soooo cute when they got their medals--they are soo proud of themselves! I am proud of both of them for playing and proud of my hubby Nate for taking the time to coach them! Ciaara was down a little that the only people that watched her this year (besides us) were Nates parents, and mentioned it again tonight (my poor girl)....last year everyone came to see Noah play.

Ciaaras last day of school is tomorrow, I can't believe it! I made a couple of gifts for her teachers.

I can't believe how much she has grown, her speech is so much better and she has really learned independence! She brought home an album today that he teacher made of her year and I cried.

Noah went on a field trip to the farm on Wednesday and got to milk a cow! He was thrilled!! He told me all about how a dairy works and what it was like to milk the cow, he even got to taste the milk. He also told me today that he made a card at school to send to the soldiers, He was beaming ear to ear with pride that a soldier would be reading his Thank You card.

We had a wonderful Memorial Weekend hanging out with new friends and going to a Twins Game!! We played games outside all of Sunday and had a wonderful BBQ. Monday was so fun watching the Twins kill Chicago 10 to 4.

Its Wednesday!! I can not believe it is Memorial Day this weekend! I've been thinking about updating all week but really I have nothing to say lol Nothing much going on in my world!

Noah was sick last week, Nate was sick last week, We had to take Ciaara to the doctor because

she got stung by something on the forehead and it swelled up bigger then a quarter! Argh...it was a busy busy week! Everything is back to normal this week!

Noah had his first T-ball game last night, we made it through one inning and it got rained out! He was really bummed out! Here is a picture of our T-ball guy.

We set up our Badmiton net this weekend and I wanted out of bounds lines otherwise there is always an agurement on whether its in or not (we are all competitive here) soo I came up with the idea of spray painting the lines (we will mow the paint off)--it turned out great!

I can't think of nothing else to report, I wish I had some scrapping pages to show off but honestly I haven't been scrapping!! I have all these new stamps sitting here waiting to be used and I just have no mojo--can anyone send me some?

Happy Mother's Day!

I had a wonderful day. I slept in until about 10:00!! lol I never sleep

that late but we were up until 3:30 am playing poker with friends.

I woke up and the kids were sooo excited for me to open their gifts...

They got me a movie and they each picked me out a pair of cute socks

(I LOVE LOVE socks lol) I also got 2 sets of acrylic stamps I really really

wanted. Nate knew I wanted them and said I could either go out to supper

at Applebees or get my stamps-- I of course picked my stamps. I still

had a wonderful supper here that he BBQ'ed for me.

We played outside a little today with the kids and I got lots of love

and cuddles from them.. I couldn't have asked for a nicer day.

Doodling? I am a natural doodler, so much so that my step dad has called me "Doodle" since I as a teenager. Any paper that was left on the table or anywhere in my reach would have my doodling all over it.

Why can't I doodle on a scrapbook page? I guess its fear lol I like my pages to be clean and perfect and doodling on them scares me, what if I goof it up?

Well I took a little of the fear out of it and used a Doodle Genie (template) and doodled on this page! I LOVE the result!!

If you haven't tried it yet, or are too nervous try one of these templates!

T-ball starts for Noah this week, just another thing to add to our week! lol We will have T-ball on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and Soccer on Thursdays and Saturdays. BUSY BUSY!

WOW !!What a crazy weekend!! Friday night we went to Menards and bought paint for almost every room in the house and stain for the deck and porch. We it just so happens this weekend was bright and sunny and no chance of rain in site--- a PERFECT weekend for staining a deck!

We threw a deck party, food and beer provided and stained our 18'x24' deck in a weekend! After we finished that Sunday afternoon we painted as much as we could on the front porch, but couldn't finish it because we needed a way to get in and out of the house! lol

Durning all of the painting fun, I snuck out and went to a Longaberger basket party and bought a basket to match the kitchen--with sunflowers :D I also played dice and drank a little with some friends I have met this year! I had a great time!

I haven't been scrapping the last couple days but here are some layouts I finished up last week!

Spring is here!!! It POURED here this weekend, Soccer starts tonight, my nose has been running non stop and I wake up with my eyes glued shut!! Those are just some of the offical signs of Spring for me!!

There are only 30 some days of school left, I just can't believe it! Can't believe that Noah will finish Kindergarten and that Ciaara will be starting Kindergarten in the fall! WOW--they are getting big!

I still keep getting bit by the scrapping bug and have done quite a few layouts! I'll share a few! :D

Our world is forver changed yet again! How can one person, one crazy evil person take away our sense of security. I am scared for the world my children are growing up in! I am scared that they have to lose their innocence sooo quickly.
Today was a hard day for me........ Noah saw some stuff on the news about the school shooting. Yes I left the TV on and he started asking questions. It started out innocently and he even was talking about how he would kick and beat up a guy like that and all of a sudden it turned scary for him (I wasn't doing much talking at this point) and he started the hard questions..... are there bad guys like that in Wisconsin Mommy? Can that happen in my school? Why didn't those kids fight him, did they fight him?? Mommy, I thought God only made good people? (Questions that have all floated through my mind of the last couple of days.) He was very upset, he was crying and quite fidgety. I tried to answer his questions. I told him all people are born good and that they choose their own ways that this guy was mean and didn't have God in his heart. I told him that this is rare and not something for him to worry about. I reassured him that in every tragedy people learn things and that they will learn how to better protect schools and watch for people with these kind of problems.
My little guy is so smart and so full of concern and worry, he gets that from me.
I gave him extra attention and lots of love tonight and then I tucked in my sweet boy and wished him sweet dreams.

My heart and prayers go out to all the people who lived and died in this tragedy, all the familes left behind and for all of us sitting here with worried hearts.

Nothing much happening around these parts! I am relaxing from our busy weekend!
Yesterday I spent the day with Ciaara at school. She was celebrating her birthday at school (there was no school on Friday or Monday and Thursday they celebrated Easter) I had tons of fun! The girls are so cute and wanted to sit by me and hold my hand and I had to draw them all a picture!

I also wanted to share some layouts..... I did these a while back but haven't shared them!
These first two are from sketchs on the Sketch This blog. They have some GREAT sketches!

This layout is a direct scrap-lift from Crystal Jeffrey Rieger -she is a Memory Makers Master and her layouts were in the magazine talking about scrap lifting yourself. I was in a slump when I read it and decided to scraplift her! :) I usually don't scraplift an exact layout-- I usually start and then go off on my own way but this time it all just fit so perfect I couldn't resist!

I have a little girl that is about to turn 5 on Saturday--5 years old I can't believe it!
It is unbelievable to me that my baby can be turning 5 and I get all choked up even thinking
about it!! Where does the time go? She is getting soo big and so grown up and its sooo much fun seeing her become this young lady--somedays I swear she acts like she is 13 and some days I look at her and still see a precious baby.

I didn't get any scrapping done this weekend, I just didn't feel like it. I can't believe I just said that outloud lol.... I am going to try and scrap today!

The MN Twins have their season opener game tonight and we all can't wait!! We will be eating our supper in the living room watching the game at 6:00 WHOOOHOOO!

BUMMER !!!!

I didn't make the next round of Scrap-Tastic's American Idol. I feel bad that I didn't get further but I am happy with every layout I made for the contest. With that said, Here was my layout for the week:

Today I found some scrappin mojo! Both of these layouts came together really easy, I didn't want to spend alot of time on either of them. Ciaara was playing a game on my laptop, I had the dishwasher running and clothes in the washer and dryer! I had one hour til it was time to get Noah from school. I got right to work, grabbed some patterned paper and got to work!

I've had this picture of Noah touching the froggy for months, I just couldn't think of what I wanted to do with it. Its simple but I like it!
I bought these flowers a couple weeks ago at Joanns (made by DCWV) and couldn't wait to use them. They matched her shirt so well!! I just love this picture of Ciaara and Papa!

Can't believe how the week is flying by, tomorrow is already Thursday! No school for Ciaara tomorrow, and Noah gets out at noon. Hope everyone is having a great week!

Just a few random pictures from the weekend! It was a busy one! We've had such warm, beautiful weather!!

Friday after school we played outside, had a BBQ, went for a walk.....Noah

and Ciaara both woke up sick in the middle of the night. Ciaara I'm not sure

if she was really sick or grossed out from watching Noah get sick. Ciaara was

fine by Saturday morning but Noah layed around watching movies--he was back to normal by Saturday night. Nate was gone all day Saturday in the cities with a friend so the kids and I read books, watched moives and played a few games!

Sunday was a lounge around day-- We did a Sunday School lesson with the kids then played basball outside. Then the boys watched the Nascar Race and Ciaara and I did some scrappy stuff!

Tomorrow I have my contest layout to finish and hopefull get to enjoy the weather--I heard its going to be in the 70s!!

WHOOOHOOOO!!! I made the next round of Scrap-Tastic's American Idol!
There are 19 girls left and they are all great!

This was my layout for this week. It had to be a 2 page layout, we had to use 3 different techniques (I choose painting, inking and stitching) and have at least 5 pictures!
Love all these pictures of my smiling guy! :D

Nothing much new for the week, I'm LOVING the weather and can't wait for all the snow to be gone so we can play outside more!! The weather guy is saying 60 and sunny for Saturday, I can't wait!

My wishblade aslo showed up and I spent today getting it going! I did cut a word--whoooohoo!
I plan on playing with it more tomorrow. Right now I am in revamp mode in my scraproom to make room for it!! What a mess I have going!

I watched an All New Grey's Anatomy tonight and I'm super disappointed! I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't watched but...... (shaking my head here)

Sorry it has been awhile!! I've had a busy week!!

Good News I can't wait to share: I made the next round of Scrap-Tastic's American Idol!!

WHOOOHOOO!! I am/was super excited to see my name!

We are down to 24 girls and the competition is TOUGH!!

The challenge was a tough one for me-- we had to make up a rap about scrapbooking!!

I used the Song "Baby Got Back" and changed up the lyrics to fit my love of Prima flowers!

My Mom came to stay the weekned with me while my Step-Dad went down to the cities with Nate for college hockey tournaments. My older sister also drove down on Friday and we all make some Easter cards and played games with the kids. My mom followed the kids to bed but my sister and I stayed up until 1 AM!!! WOW!!

My mom and I headed to the cities on Saturday for a day of shopping. When I say day, I mean the WHOLE day!!! We didn't get back home until 11:00 at night! The kids handled the long day very well and they each had 10 dollars to spend and had a great time picking something out for themselves. I got alot of stuff--- I had fun! I got a few new pair of capri pants.....I usually can never find any I like. Because I'm so short they never fit me right in the length so when I found a couple pair I liked I was thrilled! I also got a few new T-shirts and a pair of shorts for summer. We did stop at Joanns and although my mom walked out with a ton of new things I only got a couple of the Fiskars Clear Stamp sets-- they are sooo cute!!

Anyways, I have my next layout due for Scrap-Tastic tomorrow night and I have been working on my layout today. I hope to get it mostly finished tonight. If you could cross your fingers for me I'd appreciate it! Thanks so much, Happy Monday!!

Anyone else having trouble adjusting to the time change??
I can't fall asleep at night, and I can't wake up in the morning---ARGH!!
I hope I can get used to it soon!

We had a WONDERFUL warm day today, it was over 60 degrees!!
I LOVE this weather and can't wait for it to warm up everyday!
The kids and I went for a walk after school, it was sooo nice
just to be out walking in the fresh air without jackets on.
We listened to sounds and smelled the air and talked about what
we liked about spring!

Our Scrap-tastic layout was due tonight, I got that up! I am very nervous
about it, it was a hard challenge for me. I will post the layout tomorrow and
let you know the results, cross your fingers for me!!

I'll leave you with a layout I finished a couple days back. I'm not a fan of hunting and

I hate seeing the poor dead animals (sorry to anyone else that doesn't like it) But I know

its going to be a part of Noahs life and he already enjoys it soo much! He really loved

WHOOOHOOOO!!!

I made the next round of Scrap-Tastic's American Idol!! Our Challenge was to use a CD Cover for inspiration, to use Chipboard and buttons.
This is the cd cover I found with the help from a friend :D
Here is my layout! I worked on it for a whole day! Its very different then what I first came up with but I was really happy with the result.
I already got the next challenge and its a tough one!!! I am pulling together ideas and will give it my best! Wish me luck! :)

Where do the weekends go?? They just go by WAY to fast!!

The kids had school canceled on Friday so it was a long weekend for them! They also have
this Friday off. It is snowing here AGAIN today-- I'm so sick of snow now. I just can't
believe how much can change weather wise in about a week.

I went shopping on Saturday and had LOADS of fun! I got 2 new pair of jeans and quite a few new shirts-- all on clearance!! I rarely find things I like so I was super excited to try clothes on and like them!

We also went to Joanns--- EVERYTHING scrapping is 40% off!! Everything!!
The 12x12 stacks are only 8.88!!! I told myself I would only buy the cardstock ones (love the textured cardstock) but after seeing the Spring Stack I bought it! Who can resist when its only 8.88!! They also have a Chipboard pack that matches, I got that too! Then I bought the bling words for 1.19 and a lot of adhesive for 40% off-- you can never have enough glue runner refills! :)

I also had a good mail day when a Package from Shannon showed up in my mailbox yesterday. I saw on TwoPeasInABucket a picture of these stamps at Michaels---they are only a DOLLAR a piece!! A dollar, can you believe it?? Shannon called stores in her area, located them and went out to buy them, she called me to see if I wanted them and I of course said YES!! Its a good thing I said yes since I didn't see them in Michaels when I stopped there this weekend.

Last night was a great night! The March Issue of Scrapstreet Magazine came out and I have THREE things in there!! I am soooo excited!!

First my layout 3 Generations was selected for the Amazing Women article,
Next my Cousins layout was selected for the Lifting Lane,
I also have an Altered bottle on page 21.

I also got good news that I made the next round of Scrap-tastic's American Idol!
Our Challenge the last round was to use a song for our title but it can't be the title
of the song (that was hard!!!), use three patterned papers and a technique. Here
is my layout:
The song I choose was "My Next 30 Years" by Tim McGraw, I would have loved to use that title since this picture was taken on my last day of being 29. The lyrics go like this:

I think I’ll take a moment, celebrate my age
The ending of an era and the turning of a page
Now it’s time to focus in on where I go from here
Lord have mercy on my next thirty years

I choose "Celebrate My Age" for my title, used KI Memories patterned paper and used
maching stitching as my technique!! I'm really happy to be moving on in the contest, wish me luck please :)

It is snowing here again and we are supossed to get a ton more, up to 20 inches!! YIKES, its amazing we can go a whole winter without any snow and then get all this snow in less then a week!!

I've had a busy scrapping weekend--I got quite a few layouts done!! :)

It snowed all weekend and left us with almost a foot of snow--amazing!!! On Thursday

it was 50 degrees and all of our snow was gone!!

I just wanted to share a couple of my layouts. I did this one for the SNS challenge at Scrapstreet.

I've had this picture for awhile and didn't know what to do with it -- it fit the lift so well!

This layout I did from a sketch at Scrap-tastic. They are having a Cyber Crop with TONS of fun challenges going on.

Speaking of Scrap-Tastic I also made the top 48 for the American Idol Challenge! I'm pretty exctied about that! We have a layout due on Tuesday and I also got that one done and will post it soon! Wish me luck in the contest!

A couple recent layouts to show off! :)

Ciaara's layout I used insiration from the CK Top 10 magazine-- I really enjoyed this magazine!

Its still sitting on my desk. :)

We had a great weekend spending time with Nate's parents and grandma! The kids love it when Grandmas and Grandpas come over!! We all love having visitors!

Nate and Noah watched Nascar on Sunday, they are totally hooked!! Nate drafted a "fantasy Nascar" team this year. He has always done something similar for the Football season and this year a friend talked him in to this! Just another thing I have to watch him go crazy over (insert eye-roll here)

Sunday was a really lazy day for me, I didn't get out of my jammies until late afternoon and just lounged around and caught up on some shows.

Whoooohooo, I got a layout done today!!

I popped in a movie for the kids and I got scrapping!! I really like how this layout turned out! I traced a supper plate for my circle! lol

I love these pictures of Ciaara fishing!!

We have a busy weekend coming up, Nates Grandma is driving down to see us tomorrow early afternoon and we are going out to lunch. Later in the afternoon Nates parents are driving down and spending the night. The kids can not wait to see everyone!!

I hope to do a little more scrapping tonight and on Sunday while Nate and Noah watch the Nascar race!!

WOW I've been a bad blogger! lol
Last week was just soo busy with Noah being sick and me not feeling the best either-- I guess
I just didn't get on here! Everyone is feeling better right now though, WHOOOHOOO!!

The kids have a four day weekend coming up, they are excited about that. I hope its not four days of watching the two of them fight!

I worked on a project too that I can't share yet, but I think it turned out really well!
I'm really excited about it! I have been doing a little scrapping and have some layouts to photo! I'll try and get back on later and post them. I just wanted to say Hello quick when I realized how long I haven't blogged!

We had a good Valentines Day here, very low key. We decided to stay home, Nate BBQ'ed and we played some games with the kids and after we put the kids to bed we watched LOST.
I got quite a lot for Valentines Day which was a surprise because we usually don't get each other much. I got the movie Click, a electronic Sudoku game, a candle warmers with yummy Cinnamon beads to melt in it and some money last week that I shopped with :D
We got the kids the movie "The Shaggy Dog" so I'm sure we will be watching that this weekend.

WOW is it cold outside!!! It was 31 BELOW Zero this moring--yes you read that right!! 31 BELOW ZERO was the actual temp outside and that was not counting the wind chill and boy was it windy!!! Our phones rang last night telling us school was canceled! The kid were happy to have another day added to their weekend! Its really hard feeling stuck in the house because its just to cold to go outside!

On a good note, I've been scrapping! These 2 layouts were fun to do! The kids are doing the same activity on the same day! It was fun doing a layout for a boy and one for a girl and seeing the way they turn out!

Happy Friday Everyone!! The weekend is almost here! We don't have much planned for the weekend, its going to be sooooooooo cold!! The high is -1 degree...yes thats right its going to be below zero all weekend!! YUCK! Noah has a birthday party he is going to on Sunday but besdies that I don't think we plan on leaving the house much.

SWING is a layout I did the other day..... I decided to use my flourish stamps since I haven't done much with them yet. I stamped the chipboard letters with them too, got that idea from Dawn!!

I've been in to use purple lately not sure why but here are couple of 6x6 layouts I did of Ciaara with extra pictures of layouts I have already done... both are in purple! lol Each of the kids has a 6x6 book and I love using that small size layouts!! I took these pictures on Friday, notice the kids don't have snowpants on?! It was 40 degrees!!! It was just a nice day out. Nate BBQ'ed for us and the kids got to play outside. These are the first pictures I've taken of them in the snow because we just don't have much!

We are paying for our nice weather this weekend, it is soooooooooooo cold!! It was a whopping 5 degrees out! Its just too cold for me, I look forward to more 40 degree days!

We went to see Charlotte's Web on Saturday night. Noah had already seen it with his class but didn't mind seeing it again and Ciaara couldn't wait to see it! It was soooo good, if you haven't seen it you should try!

Its just about bedtime here, then Nate and I are going to watch one of the movies we bought today! Either The Guardian or Mr. and Mrs. Smith......not sure which yet!

Its been a busy week! Having school off Monday was soo nice but then I feel like the rest of the week is flying by! My mom called me a little bit ago though and she (and my sister) is coming to see me tomorrow!! I am so happy, I haven't seen them since Christmas and miss them! We usually don't make a lot of trips up north in the winter so we don't see our families much this time of year!

Ciaara had her first friend over today, everything went well! They played together pretty good, and I played too! Its funny seeing Ciaara interact with another girl though, since she is very strong willed and is used to having her brother do pretty much what she wants, she has a hard time with friends having a different opinion then hers! They were super cute though and dressed up like princess', of course I took photos!

Does anyone else scrap smaller sizes? I have a Christmas album that I started last year that is a 8x8. I don't do a lot of journaling on smaller size pages but they are quick and fun and go together pretty easy! Here are a couple I just finished the last couple days.

I'm home!! We had a wonderful time at the hockey game! We stayed out until about 1:30 (am) and then played cards in the hotel room with friends until 3:o0! I'm a little tired today but thats okay, we don't do that often!

The kids have the day off school tomorrow, its the end of the 2nd quarter! I can NOT believe that the school year is half over!! WOW!! Not sure what we will do, I have some laundry etc to catch up on. Depending on the weather I may take the kids outside to play! I'm not a fan of playing in the snow but I know they would love it! There really isn't much snow on the ground but enough that they would still have fun!

Not much to share except for some layouts! Not much has been going on here!

'm looking forward to Saturday night, we are going to a hockey game and spending the night in the cities! Nates mom is coming to babysit! We don't get away very often so it should be fun!

What a weekend!! Noah has been asking me for the past few days if he could have some "mommy and me" time! I think he has been feeling bad that Ciaara and I have the mornings all alone and he hasn't had that time alone with me. Nate took Ciaara to work on Saturday and Noah and I had the morning to ourselves! We played and cuddled and enjoyed out time alone!

I love that he still just wants to be with me, that he still loves to cuddle! I know it won't be long and he will be too big for that so I really treasure the time with both of my kids!

Today I shared my girls day with Ciaara! I went to the cities and met up with some of my friends from Memory Creators. La flew in for business, Jess and I drove down and Sara lives there! We went to lunch and did some scrapbook shopping! I had sooo much fun!

I met Sara and Jess this summer and this was the first time I've meet La but its like meeting a friend that I've known for a long time! We all got right to talking and had a blast!

Ciaara had fun hanging out, she was a sooo good! I bought her a few scrapping goodies for her stash! When we got home she told her daddy that she took a picture of Mommy, Sara, Jess and La--she knew everyones name!

ARGH!!! I started to lose my voice last night and I woke up this morning without a voice! Its really hard to try and get the kids ready for school when I can't even talk! lol

I asked Nate why he thinks I lost my voice because I don't feel sick or anything and his reply was "My prayers have been answered!!!"

Anyways.... I've still been scrapping WHOOOHOOOO!! I've also been doing a little rearranging and cleaning in my scraproom! I don't have much room to work with and I have things pretty much the way they need to be to fit but I love when I come up with an idea!! My latest idea was to mount my ribbon holder to the wall!! It really opens up the room when you walk into it AND I have the whole top of my bookshelf open!! :D

I was "online" scrapping with my friend Shannon on Saturday night and made this layout from a Sketch posted at ScrapStreet. Happy New Year to everyone!

I really need to sit down and take just a few minutes to write down some things I wish to accomplish this year! At the top of my list is to hook up my new CraftRobo and get that working :D

I made this layout for a contest at PageMaps, I didn't win but Becky's Sketches are sooo great that I was happy just to make a great layout with one! :D I used a sketch from December's maps--I also got an email today that January's sketches are up!! Be sure to check them out!

Wow!! I can't believe Christmas is over! We had such a wonderful Christmas but it went sooo fast it almost feels like a blur! I keep looking at all the kids toys and wondering "where did they get that?" lol
